Last Paso Robles, Ca. Show before Phase 2 of Proposition 63 Commences.
July 1, 2019 California will require DOJ “Point of Sale” eligibility check at the cost of $1 paid by the consumer to the DOJ. We will use a Dealer Record of Sales (DROS) Entry System (DES) that will cross-reference your information, (name, and current address, date of birth, Driver’s License, or other form of government ID) with the information you have on file with the DOJ’s Automated Firearms System (AFS) when you purchased and registered your firearm. It will also check if you have anything on record that would prevent you from owning a firearm. Those same restrictions will apply to ammunition purchases. If your information matches up and you are clear, then we can sell you ammunition. If your information does not clear, our company; Miwall Corporation cannot legally sell you ammunition. For customers who do not pass the eligibility check, the DOJ has informed us they will provide a “one time” eligibility check at the cost of $19. This eligibility check could take up to 10 days to process and will only be effective for 30 days.
